Rent a pontoon or paddleboard on Broken Bow Lake, float or kayak the Lower Mountain Fork River, or just cool off at one of the area's swimming spots. Kids can tube and swim without worrying about cold water this time of year. When you're back at the cabin, the deck and fire pit take over, evenings here are made for s'mores, a soak in the hot tub, and stars once the sun finally goes down.

Winter is when Lock & Key's covered hot tub really earns its keep: usable no matter what the weather's doing outside, which isn't true of every hot tub in the area.
